10 THINGS NOT TO DO WHEN WEARING A WATCH

Wearing a watch is something that goes beyond a simple gesture. It could be considered a kind of art. To make it easier we are going to show you 10 tips that should not be done when we want to wear a watch. In order to show elegance and style.

1.- WATCH OVER THE SLEEVE OF THE SHIRT

Discussions aside, this is unanimous and not open for discussion. The watch is designed to be worn under the sleeves, it will only be displayed when arm movements are made.

2.- CHECK THE TIME IN THE MIDDLE OF AN APPOINTMENT

The time is always looked at discratically. At no time do we want to show our companion that we are in a hurry or need to leave. This can lead to misunderstandings or discomfort.

3.- TALK ABOUT YOUR WATCH

Talking about watches is something very specific, unless you are both watch lovers and this world is a topic to avoid.

4.- A DISPROPORTIONATE WATCH

Tell me what you brag about and I’ll tell you what you lack. A watch of disproportionate dimensions is synonymous with lack of confidence or a desire to hide insecurities.

5.- LEATHER STRAP WHEN IT’S HOT

The leather bracelet is an elegant option, but in extreme heat the sweat deteriorates the material. You should always know which bracelet to wear in more extreme conditions. Opt for a steel bracelet.

6.- ILL-FITTING WATCH

You must wear the watch just before the protruding ulna bone on the outside of the wrist. In order to obtain comfort and elegance, it is adjusted so that it is neither droppind nor too tight.

7.- BEING LATE

Arriving late? Never, lack of respect and bad manners. Let’s not forget that the watch is there to tell the time, it is not a simple accessory.

8.- WEAR YOUR WATCH ON THE LEFT

Nowadays it doesn’t matter the fact you wear it on the right or the left. No more rules! But be careful not to choose your dominant hand, for optimum comfort and reading.

9.- WINDING YOUR WATCH

Wearers of mechanical watches with manual winding know that a watch is always wound after it has been removed from the wrist. A simple gesture that avoids exerting unnecessary pressure on the stem and crown.

10.- Wear your watch with an evening dress

“when you  celebrate, time stands still”

This is something that does not apply to men. But never forget, in the case of a lady, she should always do as she pleases.

These small tips are tips for the correct use of wristwatches. We hope they can help you and above all make you enjoy your favorite timepieces more.

¡IMPORTANTE! ¿Qué no debe faltar?

MAY 2022: THE LATEST FROM OMEGA

The year 2022 is full of great new pieces for watch lovers. It looks like it is going to be a year of accomplishments and achievements for Omega. April marked the arrival of the new Speedmasters, the Speedmaster 57 and the Moonshine Gold. Now we are welcoming the new Constellation 28 presented by none other than actress Zoë Kravitz, aka Catwoman in the new The Batman film. Other additions are the Constellation Co-Axial Master Chronometer 36 and the new 007-edition Diver 300m Co-Axial Master Chronometer 42 mm.

THE CONSTELLATION 28 MM

This work of art from the 5th generation of the iconic Constellation models is distinguished by its finesse and femininity. It features slimmer claws, refined bezels and exquisite bevelling along the edges of the case and bracelet, making the piece look more compact and streamlined. The skeletonised hands and hour markers on each new Constellation 28 mm model are crafted in 18-carat white gold. Each model in the collection has its own personality expressed through vibrant colours on the dial and a matching bezel. Their beauty is also the result of the pastel colours.

CONSTELLATION CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 36 MM

The timeless, stunning design of this Omega Constellation stands out with its famous half-moons, the “claws” on the case and its iconic mono-rang bracelet.

It is crafted out of 18-carat Sedna gold and measures 36 mm in diameter. It features a bezel engraved with Roman numerals, a blue sun-brushed dial with a date window at 6 o’clock, and hands, Omega logo, Constellation star and hour markers made out of 18-carat Sedna gold.

DIVER 300M CO-AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 42 MM

This watch, this work of art, is identical to the watch worn by 007, Daniel Craig, in the film No Time to Die. Measuring 42 mm in diameter, it is made out of strong yet lightweight grade 2 titanium and features a «tropical» brown aluminium bezel ring and dial.

It is slightly slimmer than standard Diver 300M models, because of the convex shape of the sapphire glass, and comes with a brown, grey and beige striped NATO strap with 007 engraved on a titanium loop.

Omega continues to be a top player in 2022 with its constant release of new models.
