Valérie Messika founded the brand in 2005 following a desire to make her mark on the world of jewellery with a young, cheerful spirit. She sought to change the formal image that we have of diamonds by treating them in a whole new way. Messika wanted to create comfortable pieces that would allow all women to wear jewellery without the pieces burdening them down. Diamonds are an integral part of the collections, where they become veritable sparkling sculptures suspended in air.
