“Beijing 2022” Special Edition
Omega has been the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932. The company is proud to time the achievements of the world’s best athletes and record many of the greatest moments in sports history. It will be Omega’s 30th time in this role.
Omega has kicked off the celebrations early by launching a new watch dedicated to the occasion with only one year to go until the 2022 Winter Olympics in China begin.
The new Seamaster Diver 300M «Beijing 2022» Special Edition has a 42 mm stainless steel case fitted with a grade 5 titanium bezel incorporating a 60-minute diving scale.
The ceramic dial in cool blue features laser-engraved waves, rhodium-plated indexes and hands filled with Super-LumiNova®. As a special tribute to Beijing 2022, the timepiece has five special minute markers at 2, 4, 8, 10 and 12 o’clock, each in one of the five colours of the iconic Olympic Rings.
The watch’s polished and satin-brushed case back features a stamped Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 emblem. Additionally, the patented Omega NAIAD LOCK system keeps all engravings in perfect alignment. Behind the case back lies the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. This exceptional movement as well as the entire watch have passed the eight tests set out by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), thus guaranteeing the industry’s highest standards in precision, performance and magnetic resistance.
Delivered in a special presentation box, the watch is attached to a polished and satin-brushed stainless steel bracelet incorporating Omega’s patented extendable foldover rack-and-pusher with an extra diver extension.
